Mandarin Oaks Elementary School

Manadrin Oaks Elementary School will always be near and dear to my heart. I graduated from MOE in 2000. I had fantastic teachers, friends, and memories there. My grandmother, Mrs. Doty, was the principal at Mandarin Oaks from its opening in 1989 until 2002, retiring after the last of her grandchildren had graduated. She took great pride in the school and staffing the best teachers, many of which continued to stay friends more more than 20 years after retirement.

My grandmother passed away last month, she was 90 years old. There was something so special and full circle that our very first photo booth event since launching our wood photo booth at Bokeh & Birch, was at the school she helped open and held so dear to her heart.

From picking props, to striking poses, all of the students, teachers and parents seemed to really enjoy themselves with the photo booth. At no point all night was there not a line. It makes my heart so happy to see everyone enjoying themselves. I hope to see all of you again really soon.
